We possess over 50 years of experience with the formulation of nylon masterbatch. We have 19 years of expertise in the application of nylon products. Our specialization lies in customizing highly efficient PA masterbatch that includes: PA6 masterbatch, PA66 masterbatch, nylon 6 masterbatch
In our experience working with customers in past projects, we have observed that:
The use of highly dispersed PA masterbatch led to the reduction of color variations by around 20%.
Under processing conditions ranging from 280°C to 300°C, there was significant improvement in color stability.
Breakage of yarn during spinning process reduced by more than 20%.
What Standard Polymer can give you is not just a sack of common masterbatch but the whole package of “Stable Production”.
Choose standard to make your product stand out in the market.

PA Masterbatch is a high concentration masterbatch that utilizes nylon (PA6 and PA66) as the carrier of pigment and other additives.
The nylon material is highly sensitive to heat and moisture. Moisture requirement for both raw material and masterbatch is very tight.
This application can be considered one of the toughest for nylon 6 masterbatch.
With the very thin diameter of the filament and a rapid spinning process, the dispersion of the masterbatch is connected with spinning pressure. A poor dispersion can easily cause clogging the spinneret. In some cases, even product yields will decrease. Hence, the use of quality masterbatch plays an essential role.
With regards to modified compounds, their total flowability is relatively low, which means that the high dispersion of the masterbatch should be provided. A poor dispersion not only affects product properties but also greatly reduces the quality of appearance of the final product.
Masterbatch used for compounds brings numerous advantages such as better dispersion, cleanliness, and consistency from batch to batch.
If you plan to use the color masterbatch for glass fiber-reinforced PA or fire retardant PA, then we suggest our clients run a compatibility test first.
In the injection molding industry, some examples of applications would be:
Some common considerations that need to be made are:
Due to the excellent reducing properties of nylon, it is very difficult to achieve both resistance to high temperatures as well as vivid colors simultaneously.
Standard Polymer has developed unique solutions of heat-resistant and weather-resistant orange as well as heat-resistant and weather-resistant yellow. We have supplied our masterbatch in quantity to recognized OEMs in this regard. Please get in touch with us for more information.
Process recommendation:
3. Acquire samples and conduct testing before proceeding with a big order.
While a color masterbatch with PA6 carrier may be attempted for use in a PA66 setup, vice versa should be avoided. In case of necessity, however, testing is highly advised first.
Because nylon itself is highly hygroscopic.

This will depend on your wall thickness and the concentration of the masterbatch. Normally, I suggest that you apply the amount anywhere from 2% to 5%. But for thick wall injection molded parts, our high concentration product can give excellent opacity at only 1%.
